Norman Mailer (Christina Pabst)

Norman Mailer

Norman Mailer is a heroic chronicler of America and a notorious troublemaker. He's won two Pulitzer prizes, wrote biographies of Marilyn Monroe and Lee Harvey Oswald, as well as novels about the CIA and ancient Egypt and Jesus Christ. He has been a public figure, admired and attacked, in a way that few writers today can match. Mailer talks with Kurt about his career and his new book The Castle in the Forest, a story of Adolf Hitler’s youth, as told by a narrator who happens to be an actual demon.
