I don't enjoy privileged intellectuals trivializing the labor movement. It's not that she had to do a serious piece about the issues in the writer's strike. But how elitist is it to put on a british working class accent, talk about how unattractive strikers were when her "father's" union went on strike, and then gush over the plight of the attractive and famous people she got to hug while watching the entertainment at their rally?

I'm a fan of this show, and was rather surprised at the smug attempt at humor of this segment. It was very clear that you don't take this strike seriously and I found that disturbing.
