When Amy Douglas was a teenager, her parents sent her to a boarding school for troubled kids deep in the Arizona desert. Amy fell deep into a depression. Then a cassette copy of The Name of This Band Is Talking Heads helped turn her life around. Produced by Adda Birnir.

Amy, I loved your story. I agree with so much of what you said about 77. My brother and I rescued a copy from the neighbor's garbage growing up. Their teenage son had pitched the album on the top of the heap. This was pre-CD days, and the vinyl had warped in the sun. So certain songs always skipped, but like you were saying, the energy came through. I'm always amazed now when my CD version of the album doesn't skip!
